Couch arrives Tuesday. With dishwasher and freezer. Oh and shitty colors. The cable and net guy came today to hook the net and phone and TV back in, and apparently the old renters fucked the phone lines so much it took him 2 hours to wire them back on and he's not done yet. But we've got the TV and the net back, at least. This place is still painted like a Rubik cube, but not for long. I've got two lovely shades of orange and peach selected for the downstairs room. Upstairs is just as crappy but it can wait. We have no idea when we're going to have enough cash set aside to really buy a house, so we better make this place as nice and comfortable as possible in the meantime... In a totally different subject, can SOMEONE explain to me why half of the communities I watch are invaded by " You are about to view content that may not be appropriate for minors." links??? WTF happened while I was away???? Wake up, dreamer.
